Why we built LVCI Next

Most AI programs for young people follow the same recipe: a video playlist, a quiz at the end, a PDF certificate. Students finish knowing about AI without ever having built anything with it.

We think that's backwards.

Learning that sticks

The people getting hired, promoted, and funded right now aren't the ones who watched the most tutorials. They're the ones who can take a messy, real problem and build a working solution. That skill only forms one way: by building, breaking, and iterating on something real.

So that's the entire program. Twelve students, four weeks, one real business problem, and a working AI solution shipped by Demo Day — with industry mentors coaching them through every wall they hit.

What "proof" looks like

At the end of four weeks, our students don't have a completion badge. They have:

• A working project they scoped, built, and shipped
• A live presentation delivered to industry judges
• A verifiable certificate tied to that project
• Mentors who watched them work

That's the difference between "completed an online course" and "built an AI tool that solved a real business problem" — and it's a difference hiring managers and admissions officers notice immediately.
